Based in Cockburnspath, we welcome suitable dogs from across the Scottish Borders, Berwickshire and East Lothian, including Dunbar and the surrounding villages.

 

A Rural Daycare Experience

Our location gives dogs a very different backdrop to a conventional commercial setting. The estate offers coastal views, countryside, wildlife and space away from the bustle of a town centre. Our herbs and flowers can provide sensory interest, while the sights and sounds of rural life create natural opportunities for dogs to sniff, observe and engage with their surroundings.

Dogs also see our own animals around the property. Any interaction is managed according to the dog, the circumstances and safety. We never assume that because one dog enjoys something, every dog will.

 

Care Built Around the Dog in Front of Us

Some dogs want activity and play. Others benefit from a quieter pace, more rest or time to settle. Age, temperament, confidence and energy levels all matter. Our approach is to understand the individual rather than force every dog into one version of daycare.

That is also why we value open communication with owners. The more we know about your dog’s routines, preferences, medical needs and behaviour, the better placed we are to care for them well.

 

From Grooming Client to Daycare Family
